"La prova" What does it mean? An attempt? An obstacle to overcome? Not at all!
The "title track" discloses the hidden meaning of the album.
Raf sounds resolute and direct: his songs express an accusation against power, against exasperation and consumer negative consequences; he re-preoposes the utopia of equality, of social justice: the urgent longing for a best life.
Music supports the main idea of the cd in a direct way too.
Raf shows a particular attention to rhythmic structures and sounds, which are mainly softrock: guitars, Hammond organ, bass guitar and drums. Raf's unmistakable voice makes this album coherent thanks to his mature and aware performance.
Raffaele Riefoli has worked hard on this album as writer and composer of all songs but "Il primo uomo", which he wrote in collaboration with Cesare Chiodo, guitarist and co-producer with Simone Papi.
