"Stilelibero" is Eros Ramazzotti's new album. It's made up of twelve Ramazzotti's typical hits but there's something new too: a duet with Cher in "Più che puoi" and Jovanotti worked on the album too since he wrote the lyrics of "Improvvisa luce ad est". Something different was expected maybe because of the excessive rumour about this new album release and Eros' promise at the end of his last tour, to be back on stage with something which would have surprised everyone. So now it's hard to find this new energy in "Stilelibero", which according to Eros himself, should have been completely different from his previous records. "Stilelibero" has Ramazzotti's typical characteristics: pleasant notes, which make people dream, and melodic lyrics as always. "L'ombra del gigante" presents rhythm and sound which remind us of his successful hits of the past and "L'aquila e il condor", presents a social topic, racism abolition, which even "C'è una strada in cielo" (which belongs to his album "In ogni senso") is partly about. So "Fuoco nel fuoco", single of the new cd, presents maybe a kind of new energy, while "E ancora mi chiedo" proposes a nostaligic view of the past, when Ramazzotti was loved only for his semplicity. "Per me per sempre" reminds us of "Aurora", both dedicated to Eros' daughter. This album wont' be the most beautiful thing Eros Ramazzotti's done so far, but we bet that for "Stilelibero" his fans will keep shouting "thanks for existing"!
